I don't think every film that has songs in it should be categorised with the genre music. I think for this one it's good enough to cover just in the keywords (i.e. musical). I think it's more for movies like this, these, etc, etc, actually about music. Not being a musical.. but maybe I'm wrong? I mean, every movie has songs in it. Just because there are movies that have songs sung by a character... idk. I guess it matters how Travis intended the keyword, as anything-remotely-related-to-music-and-so-also-musicals, or just music? I mean, we don't add Romance, just because two characters kiss in a movie ;_;.

Other mods?

I just saw this post and thought I would give my 2 cents. Saw the same issue for Fiddler on the Roof. Based on website definition of music genre (Contains significant music-related elements while not actually being a Musical; this may mean a concert, or a story about a band (either fictional or documentary).), musicals would not be included in "Music". They do seem to be in the keyword, but as a musician myself, I would say that Musicals are definitely their own genre. They are a completely different style of movie with a majority of the story and character interactions done in song, by the characters themselves. And most of the actors are as good singers as they are actors. Unlike most movies, where there is a script author, the stories are often written by musical composers through song. Just think of things you might see on broadway. Also, other sites like imdb, for instance, have both "Music" and "Musical".

Does anyone dare to say that this movie is not a musical?

I would agree. I think in the past there was actually a Musical genre. I don't know for sure. But there were also genres like Western, Film-Noir etc etc, that got removed later on (or is Western still there. I don't actually remember)
