Yeah, nothing original here and a very very mediocre movie and it ultimately gets rather tedious after the first third if it wasn't tedious even before that. A crappy story that doesn't really make much sense or at least they do not give any reason or motive for the behaviour in the movie. The basic plot is that some random scientist is apparently developing a cure for H5N1 (if memory serves) and for some reason Kiefer Sutherland's military posse breaks into his compound and kills him and steal his research. No reason whatsoever is given for this behaviour. Next we have Ben Foster's character who disappears only to reappear when our hapless hero thinks he is dead: big surprise he is not. Again I'm not sure why Kiefer's evil gang let's Foster be and is hellbent on killing Pine's character when they were obviously both on the raid. After you've spent your time wondering about these things among others you are treated to one of the most anticlimactic and lazy gunfights I've ever seen. Pine goes home and everything is fine again apparently.
