Discuss Naked Singularity

The movie is not super complex and doesn't have too much impact, there are few wrong decisions too. But overall as a big picture it's a very nice watching experience. From the dialogs it's clear that this movie is a book adaptation, as no screenwriter can write like that. The production is very professional and flawless and the director knows his sh!t. The movie creates great atmosphere of the incoming apocalypse and the collapse of social norms, and it reflects on the behavior of the main characters and their decisions. Naked Singularity has a cinematic heart, which is a hard thing to see these days in the contemporary movies. And just for that it's worth watching it.

I really, really like John Boyega and hope he continues to find roles that challenge him. He was criminally underused in the Star Wars sequels, but he has a fine sense of timing and a good screen presence.

Relieved to see that Naked Lunch finally got a sequel, after all of these decades
