Yes, I do agree. I mentioned in another thread on this board, that I just re-watched Grease on the big screen this week. I cringed in my seat when Sid Caeser uttered that line.
When I first watched it in a movie theater over 40 years ago, I didn't think much about it, then. In the context of when the line was written ... if you watch some scenes from the lead-up to the dance contest, and even old videos of Dick Clark's American bandstand, it was not unusual for two girls to be dancing together. Innocently written then, but offensive now.
