Stupid, but Good Stupid

I've seen a lot of YT reviewers talking about how bad this movie is yet still liking it, and I have to say, I am kind of in the same boat. It's so silly, but that last 30ish minutes was so over the top and so much fun I actually want to watch the movie again with people who haven't seen it so I can laugh at their reactions. It's a goofy movie but I can't help but enjoy it.

I was really disappointed in this movie. I was really hoping that it would be a good horror movie but I was let down once again. It started off interesting and went downhill quickly.
It’s pretty amazing how difficult good horror movies are to come by.

I found it to be entertaining. It's mostly the absurdity of that last 30 minutes that really won me over. It kind of reminds me of how Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was one big slow burn for the outrageous violence we got in the last 10 minutes. I'm planning to rewatch this movie in a few weeks just to see how much I like it knowing how it plays out.
I am a big horror fan, and although this movie is nowhere near perfect I do love a good schlock fest.

I was the opposite.
I was expecting something more sinister and serious, so I too was disappointed. The opening scene set the tone - it was very cheesy and OTT. However, I still didn't think it would culminate to the weird and frankly ridiculous John Wick/Terminator police station scene.
Don't get me wrong, the reveal was interesting and pretty sick,and I could've accepted some silliness...but that last 30mins went a bit too far.
