A plane carrying a weapon more dangerous than a nuclear weapon goes down near Greece. To prevent panic, the officials go in dressed as tourists (who are dressed so casually that the pilots assume that they are all gay). The pilots are not to make themselves known and can't contact the rescue team. The secrecy causes a comedy of errors including the desolate Greek Isle deciding that since tourists have now arrived, they have to become touristy.

Ένα αεροπλάνο του ΝΑΤΟ ρίχνει κατά λάθος μια βόμβα υδρογόνου, κοντά σε ένα ελληνικό νησί. Πράκτορες φτάνουν στο νησί για να μαζέψουν το επικίνδυνο όπλο. Παράλληλα, έλληνες πράκτορες υποδύονται τους επιχειρηματίες, αναζητώντας το ίδιο αντικείμενο. Μια αρχαιολόγος (Κάντις Μπέργκεν) θα συνδεθεί με έναν εξ αυτών, αλλά όλα θα πάνε στραβά, όταν ένας βοσκός θα βρει τη βόμβα, θα τη ρίξει στη θάλασσα και χιλιάδες ψάρια θα ξεβραστούν νεκρά. La vida en una alejada isla griega cambia para siempre cuando dos cargas atómicas caen accidentalmente de un avión de la OTAN. El gobierno trata de recuperar su carga, sin causar alarma, por lo que envía agentes disfrazados de inversionistas en la búsqueda de un lugar para construir un resort. Unos lugareños encuentran una de las bombas y creyendo que oculta un tesoro, despliegan todo su ingenio para tratar de abrirla. Mientras tanto, los veraneantes, ignorantes del peligro se dedican a bailar y divertirse al ritmo de una música frenética. Para no despertar sospechas, los agentes del gobierno también organizan su propia fiesta. En la playa empiezan a aparecer peces muertos.
