So having seen several Tobe Hooper movies recently, including his two TCM movies , two episodes of Masters of Horror & Funhouse...and just rewatching Poltergeist last night in preparation of Halloween Horror Nights next month...its quite obvious its a Spielberg film! The scene when the mom goes through the portal to rescue Carol Anne REEKED of Spielberg's direction...and that's fine by me! Kinda feel bad for Hooper on this one..having his name on it when its not actually his baby. Also hate there's NO BTS on the DVD or Blu Ray!
