Felt kinda like a big budget direct to video flick but it was okay.

It was entertaining, even with propaganda BS.

Yeah that was kind of a dumb line, especially when he was advising her to join the military, which is notorious for quickly promoting black women because it looks better on paper than promoting a male of any color or a white female.

That's fair, you're not missing much. Reminded me in ways of The 4400, which also had a super power serum taken from a black girl that had a chance of killing you if you take it.

Good idea, good novelty of random superpowers, good special effects. A little bit to review dialogues and part of the plot sometimes obvious and trivial.
