The API uses the same search as the website and searching for "Wish You Were Here." returns this movie as the first item:
http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=wish+you+were+here.#0
If it's actually causing a problem in a media player, I would talk to the developer of that player to figure out why as it's not a problem with TMDb.
