especially when i was young used to pop this in on movie nights. Cheesy one liners , cliche aliens and huge explosions. What can you not love?

@gspgreases : I liked the scenes between Judd Hirsch and Jeff Goldblum together. They were awesome!

Even the cheesiest moments were great. This is definite favorite of mine.

It is too cherished a movie. Especially when it was Followed up by IDR, which proves that should movies should NOT have sequels.

some sequels are better than the originals but yes most arent. Dark knight comes to mind

But Independence Day Resurgence is still a very horrible sequel.
