Since Titanic won 11 Academy Awards(only 3 films have done that)its only fitting that I would put this topic here. Wtf is the Academy thinking? The Academy Awards that the four categories to be presented during commercial break and not aired live are Cinematography, Film Editing, Makeup and Hair, and Live-Action Short. How can they even be considered THE awards show to honor the craft of film making anymore? I mean they basically have been going down hill for years now according to ratings, but wow, this is just mind blowing.

Even if you are someone that dosent understand or care about how films are made, which is fine, the end product is for everyone. But making a film is impossible without Cinematography and Editing...literally not possible, its cinema itself. How can the Academy even consider doing this? They are giving people even more of a reason to not watch them.
