Who knew that Mississippi even had a school reading list?
But if the Guardian is reporting on that, then this must mean that
England is having second thoughts about opening up their Oxford College branch campus in Mississippi, right?
So then let's look at the P/C bright sides....
Animal Rights groups need to be happy to save a few Mockingbirds from slaughter.
Environmental groups ought to be happy to save a few extra trees from pulp mills.
Hollywood has to be happy that they're watching the movie instead of reading the book.
Fake Network news agencies have to be really happy to have more human disinterest fodder to spin back and forth, and
Mississippi kids have to be happy to have one less burden to carry back and forth to school provided that there still are any schools left around these days.
