I know this was meant to be a Bautista vehicle akin to Schwarznegger's Kindergarten Cop, Vin Diesel's The Pacifier etc. but this was surprisingly charmless.
To me, this was mostly down to Bautista, who basically can't act and has barely any charisma. I've only seen him in Guardians of the Galaxy and he didn't speak much...kinda know why now!

He serves a purpose in the Guardians movies. And I know Blade Runner 2049's pretty strongly disliked around here, but I didn't mind Dave in it at all.
Dave may not have much charm on film, but IRL he is respectable. Didn't he threaten to not take part in the third Guardians film, if writer-director James Gunn wasn't allowed back to direct it? That was gutsy.

Yeah he did. I'm not judging his character or personality though, I've no doubt he's a respectable person.
I forgot he was also in Blade Runner 2049 but he barely said anything IIRC. Have you seen this film? Purely commentating on him in it.

Well you pretty much destroyed the film, and then you went after Bautista himself, so... I figured I'd say something good about him. I do believe you though.
