Propaganda is strong in this one. How can they get away with stuff like this constantly? Who pays for this since we all know this is a doodie.

If I ever subscribe to AppleTV again, I may watch this, but frankly, I suspect it will be far FAR inferior to past adaptations, such as Throne of Blood or my favorite, the Polanski version from the 70’s.
Too many movies today concern themselves excessively with “the message” or individual performances. This weakens the overall cohesion of the film. They miss the forest for the trees.

Thing is, what's the point of rehashing the same ole production over & over for centuries with nothing new to add? When the source material is as old as shakespeare I expect the filmmakers to make it topical/challenging otherwise I'll just stick to my Orson Welles version (which itself was unconventional in 1948).
If I want to see shakespeare true to form, I'll demand all the women's roles are played by men in drag like he wrote it.
