I'm not sure about the correct German title.
I don't think this movie was in German cinemas (and I think the German cinema release is just wrong).
I only know German releases on physical media (VHS, DVD, Blu-ray) and there I only find "Blue in the Face" on the cover.
However, I know a DVD-rip, where also "Alles blauer Dunst" is used as subtitle at the intro.

BTW: Currently often also the title ("Blue in the Face") including the subtitle "Alles blauer Dunst" is used (see e.g. https://programm.ard.de/TV/Programm/Sender/?sendung=287224833049).

according to Wikipedia we talk about two different movies Following the shooting of Smoke, the film Blue in the Face was produced. It uses the same locations and some characters from Smoke, but is not a sequel. It is a series of free improvisations with no script and no rehearsals, loosely connected by a storyline. The entire film was shot in just six days.
What movie are you talking about?

This issue is about "Blue in the Face"!
For me it is not clear at all how the German title of this move should be, but I tend to use just the original English title "Blue in the Face" – even if I'm unsure and therefore I've created this issue to discuss it.
BTW: For "Smoke", I think, the German title should be without "Raucher unter sich" (see issue https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/10149-smoke/discuss/644654797648410524be4973).

BTW: Where the DVD-rip also has the subtitle in the film intro (i.e. "Blue in the Face" plus "Alles blauer Dunst"), the TV broadcasting from ONE does not have the subtitle in the film intro (i.e. only "Blue in the Face" is used).
