Look on the other side of the cameras - there is no shortage of Jewish/Irish/ Nordic names - besides which a lot of actors change their names - you can't always tell ethnicity via a stage name. I haven't noticed a lack of diversity in series and films - all ethnicities seem fairly well represented. The word "diversity" is a band wagon word - I am sick of the sound of it.
Can't agree. The third pictured cast member is that Jewish girl.
You hardly ever see Jewish people represented in Hollywood, so they've clearly ticked the diversity box...
Peretti is Italian, I believe, not Jewish. In any event, the jury remains out as to whether or not either demographic counts as "white"
I just looked at the picture and guessed she was Jewish - would be amazed if she wasn't!
What's the other comment mean, i.e. are Jewish supposed to be seen as white or are they supposed to be seen as racial different? (Just interested, no idea what the prevailing take on that is...)

I've heard both arguments - concerning Jewish folks and Italians. I think the more "modern" take is that they're white, but in years past they were clearly not considered to be. Try posting on Twitter and insinuating that Jewish people aren't white, and see how long it takes you to get banned.

Her father is of English & Italian heritage & her mother is Jewish! Which (usually) means that Chelsea is considered to be Jewish. But do we know how she identifies her heritage?
