Boseman doesn't have a lot of screen time but his presence is always present. Stormin Norman is this mythic figure and sits between the Ali and MLK videos. The fact that the aspect ratios are the same was a brilliant way to add context and import to the flashback scenes with Norman. Boseman isn't getting much credit for his acting but I thought it was brilliant.

Well stated. I love Isiah Whitlock Jr.'s speaking style, and his "sheeeeeeee-its" are always amusing. Chadwick and Delroy gave my favorite performances in this, though. Chadwick fleshed out another black hero character excellently (James Brown, T'Challa, Thurgood Marshall, anyone?).
RIP Chadwick Boseman.

One of my favourite Chadwick roles was Jackie Robinson in the movie, "42". Oddly enough, Chadwick passed away today on Jackie Robinson Day. It is also the birthday of the creator of The Black Panther, Jack Kirby.
RIP, Chadwick. Wakanda Forever!!

I watched this because of Boseman and was disappointed that he was barely in it. But it turned out to be a decent, if tonally uneven, film. To be fair Delory Lindo was brilliant in this and I can see why his performance overshadowed everyone else's.
