Discuss Jaws: The Revenge

Where to begin?

  1. Dumb, far-fetched story line about a shark following people over great distances (was much of it a dream?)
  2. Contrived conversation between actors playing marine biologists--they try and fail to convince us that actually they talk this way to each other all the time
  3. A lead lady who really should have stayed just a supporting player (shows don't always wish for more of what you like)
  4. Annoying child actor
  5. The central character is cured from terrible trauma of child-loss in as much time as it takes to get a haircut (why did they not simply have her see a psychiatrist?) thus killing any attempt to present her problem even three quarters realistically
  6. Criminal under-use of ultra-great lady (Karen Young)

Very strange!I coulda sworn I closed this board right after I wrote it. Everyone Jaws:The Revenge was the fourth film in the series. Closing now!

One last thing. I just want to emphasize that Karen Young is so beautiful and great to look at and fun to watch throughout this film that she is actually three times better than the movie itself!

That is indeed a very strange thing to do!

Nothing wrong or strange with closing a board! That is what the option is here for!
