Discuter de Jaws

Quite an old thread from IMDB, but I figured I'd scratch an old wound and/or stir up some shit (I wonder if that will get beeped). Anywho, what are your thoughts, real or superimposed?

**** the IMDb.

Happy to be aboard everybody. Ah, the old shooting star debate.

In the Jaws documentary from 1995, it's noted the shooting star was caught by complete accident and is in fact real.

Ah, another familiar name from IMDB. I wonder if BuddyLove and Phy will head over this way eventually.

Howdy Slick. Good to see you here.

I can't speak for Phy, I hope he makes it aboard. I know he was well aware of the shutdown. Buddy on the other hand was absent for well over a year (at least) from the boards. It seemed he set sail to Boston and so never more shall we see him again. (I hope I'm wrong, however).

Isn't there a shooting star in most of Spielberg's movies? I would venture to saw they are not real. Or maybe the real shooting star was used over and over again. If anyone knows all the shooting star scenes and wants to list them I will be an avid reader of your post!

Here is a couple of screenshots from Jaws, Close Encounters and the Temple of Doom, looking up on it there are supposed to be more in his other films but I haven't found any screenshots yet.

Thanks for the Link! I guess the shooting star in every movie is an urban legend. I can't imagine one being in Schindler's List!

First one was real

Real. There was no reason for Spielberg to add it in. Shooting stars are fairly common but we usually don't see them because of the lights on the ground. On a clear night at sea it would rather easy to spot them.
