Debate Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

What did everyone think about how Ethan Hunt entered The Orient Express train in Dead Reckoning Part One? I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I was expecting him to land on the top of the train and climb down to go inside, but when he comes smashing through that window, WOW! I was NOT expecting that! Reactions and Opinions please.

Was cool, but obvious. It was more a comedic moment for me. This movie had few funny moments that made me chuckle, genuine humor and also over the top ridiculous situations that made me laugh because how absurd it was. Anyway, I was well entertained and the action sequences were really good to cover the completely implausible plot. Well done.

@D-magic: I liked Dead Reckoning except for the part when THOSE BAS****DS KILLED ELSA!

Lol, I have a suspicion she is not dead. But maybe she is busy with projects like Silo to commit to this franchise. So enough is enough.

@D-magic: Unfortunately, as much as I loved Elsa's character, I think she IS dead. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I thought it was funny too. Not believable at all, and yes, surprising, but funny because it was so ridiculous (both the idea and the stunt itself).

@Daddie0:You do realize that they've been doing movie stunts like that since the first Mission Impossible movie, right? And if you find them so ridiculous, then why the hell are you watching the movies in the first place?

CGI is better and safer than real life stunts. I can't wait until AI replaces all humans in films and television shows. (sarcasm)

@wonder2wonder: When Brian Williams was on MSNBC, right before he was going to say something sarcastic, he would always preface it with "Sarcasm Alert" 😂

Yeah, I do. In fact, it's part of what draws me to the series. That said, seeing Tom Cruise jerked/crashed through a wall and into a bad guy at just "that moment" was cartoonish in both concept and reality. I literally laughed when it happened then rewound and watched it a few time because it was so ridiculous and funny.

I appreciate that he actually did the stunt, but it was so absurd and far fetched that it clearly took me out of the movie (hence the rewinding in real time. #nosarc

@Daddie0: While it could be argued that Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible movie stunts are starting to get a little ridiculous, they still look pretty cool.
