I feel so bad for Carla Gugino.

I hate that every time I comment on a movie it's usually to shit on it, but this movie had a pretty good cast and was visually interesting, but the script sucked a fat one and the action was super boring.

I wish they had properly copied off of John Wick or Kingsman then at least the action would have been cool. Instead they seemed to have hired the Birds of Prey fight choreographer where guys just stupidly run at the women and then the women shoot/kick/punch the guys and then they drop like they've been hit by a sledgehammer. It's cartoonish, and not in the fun way.

The only scene I kind of enjoyed is when the main woman's hands are paralyzed and she has weapons taped to them, other than that it was pretty boring. Kill Bill this wasn't.

To be fair many of the men were hit with hammers. Only like two maybe three were taken out weaponless (you really don't need to be a man to kill people with weapons). Also killing people with a car with an eight year girl driving was pretty inventive...I'm sorry...I mean with an eight and three quarters girl driving.

The biggest thing that confused me in this movie was why Karen Gillan used her American accent for it. It didn't make sense in the story, as her mom said they had just come from London, and her mom had an English accent. It's the one WTF moment I kept thinking about throughout the movie. It's not like she can't do a convincing English accent when it's already her natural one. It's a really strange director/actor choice for the character.

She has a Scottish accent, Liam Neeson has an Irish accent and Lena Headey has an English accent.

None of the above changes the fact that this film is garbage. I'm halfway through it and have had enough.

It was definitely hair brained SJW garbage. The same woman who murdered a little girl's father takes her under her wing and teaches her how to murder men as if that's virtuous. This is what Hollywood is now.

So many problems with this film so I'll point out just the one; When your composing a score for a film don't try and make it sound like an Ennio Morricone score from a western, you'll just remind the audience of vastly superior movies.
