Samara Weaving is a very pretty actress and I liked her in general as the main actress.

However, some minutes into the movie and then I started noticing she has a visible tattoo in her right hand.

Why the hell didn't they at least try to delete it via special effects like they do in many movies? That looked simply awful and was too distracting many times. In fact, it didn't even fit her character at all.

And I absolutely hate tattoos.

You don't like peppers?

I think it was to show her 'free spirit and love.' Basically a hippie/love thing. Which makes it all the better when she goes full Rambo last blood ill kill this fucking family to survive mode.

She should just wear a sign around her neck that says "I'm a simpleton" which would have the same effect as a tattoo, except then she could remove it for movie roles.

Yeah. I honestly can't understand how can people like tattoos. They look pathetic.
