Discuss Blue Beetle

Never mind it was the Blue Beetle. On a more serious note, what can I say, it's not the worst movie ever made and not the worst DC movie they've made, but it's still kind of bad, forgettable and at many parts rather boring. Is it as bad as Bland Ada........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......sorry I fell asleep again thinking of that movie disaster with the Rock. Now where was I....yes, not as bad as Bland Adam, but very mediocre. The story is very forgettable and rather uninteresting. The action scenes nothing to write home about. The cast: again largely forgettable with no standouts. Heck, the only thing you will probably remember from this movie a year or two from now is that the Blue Beetle and his family are of latin origin since they have to keep reminding you of that in just about every scene.

tldr: a mediocre and ultimately rather forgettable movie. Another generic superhero movie to add to the pile.

Black Adam was infinitely better than this pile of crap. Latest Shazam was the worst IMO before watching Blue Beetle.

You know, I'm going to be honest I had only watched half of Blue Beetle when I wrote that that original message and turns out I was wrong....terribly wrong. Blue Beetle is most likely the worst DC movie up to date and almost on par with those terrible movies Marvel has been putting out in the recent years like Ant Man Quantumania and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. As much as I disliked Bland Adam and I thought I had given it 0.5 stars or a 1/10 it turns out I remembered wrong and I did in fact give it 2 stars where as Blue Beetle deserves maybe 1 star or 2/10. Just a crappy movie through and through. When you have so many asinine cliched scenes, an utterly dislikable and forgettable cast and such a boring story you end up with the mess that is the Blue Beetle. There's too much stupidity in the movie to list, but the one that really got to me is when he gets his beetle powers and beetle suit and the bad guys show up and unload about 500 AR rounds in him and he has a heureka moment where he says something like "Hey I'm bulletproof" only to shortly after engage the bad guys doing cartwheels or something etc. to avoid the gunfire. I mean I suppose it's supposed to look "cool" and make for a good action scene, but you can't help but to think why is this dummy going through all the trouble with the cartwheels and flips when you just took 500 rounds at extremely close range without suffering even a scratch.

Blue Beetle.. more like Bumbling Baffoon
