Most already thought that Jesse will get a chance to get away at the end of the series. Here we see just see it happen. I personally enjoyed it as a bonus movie to Breaking Bad. I had to accept that even though it's supposed to be continuous, the characters will look different (it has been 6-7 years) which was surprisingly easy as I got sucked in right away into this universe. Aaron Paul is so good some scenes of Jesse's torture were hard to watch especially the running back and forth.
At the end of the film, I wanted to see more even just a glimpse of Jesse's life in Alaska - like Saul working in Cinnabon. Or was there an after credit scene? Have to check on that. Or maybe still have a bit of hope on BCS when it ends they will show a bit of Jesse.

I didn't think there was any point to it. Yes, everyone was good in it and it was well made but it was pointless. An obvious cash in.
Breaking Bad has finished. Let it be.

I agree. It was like a deleted scene. There was really nothing to it. I just watched it last night, and while it was cool to see Jesse, Badger, Skinny Pete and Ed again (RIP), it really did not show much in the way of new revelations.
I liked it, but eh... I'm waiting on the next Better Call Saul season more.

I turned to Mrs Midi-chlorian Count after this scene and said that I wished that it had been the first scene of this "film" rather than the last.
Wasn't particularly interested in all the filler and pointless flashback cameos. Would rather have just seen where Jessie landed up and starting up a new life (obviously we could still have got flashbacks in that set up). Although I guess Netflix will churn that out in due course...

An interesting movie, but as others have said, not really necessary and a bit slow (I'd say overlong).
I did find it a little intriguing that it was teased Lydia could survive. Unlikely that she would given what we saw at the end of Breaking Bad and the tiny bit they said about her in this movie, but still, it leaves open the teeny possibility that we could somehow see her for a moment in Jimmy's/Saul's Cinnabon life in the final season of Better Call Saul.

Technically it is a deleted scene. So what? I loved getting to see all that unseen stuff.

Not technically, surely...

"Basically?" "Essentially."
