Discuss Brahms: The Boy II

Anybody watched it yet? Your thoughts?

I personally preferred the first 'Boy'

First one was better for sure. Bit strange how it went in a different direction considering it was the same house and boy from the first film.

And Katie Holmes, I hate to say, didn't look or act great in this.

Agreed on Katie......never thought much of her anyway. As for the change in direction.....i cannot imagine why the drastic change!!! Like u said, same house, same doll.......just didnt make any sense.

The thing is with the storyline, I thought it was a completely seperate doll (I mean, same model but not the same one, if that makes sense) and location. This was clearly set in England whereas the first one was a bit ambiguous. It would've made more sense had this had no connection to the first one. I mean, did I miss something but where was "Joe" in the first film?? Was the time line really far apart or something?

Kinda reminded me of REC (original Spanish one) where the second one went off in a different direction. Except that was good!
