Maybe my memory fails me, but I do have some kind of a recollection of him saying he wouldn't be doing anymore action movies. Either way I'm glad that is not true. He did do a movie called "Made in Italy" before this one that is about his relationship to his estranged son or something like that.....I don't know I didn't watch it and I'm sure nobody else did either and that includes the director and everyone else involved in making it because nobody wants to see Liam Neeson in a movie if it doesn't have some Albanian gangsters involved in sex trafficking or at the bare minimum a crooked cop or two!

Yeah he said he wouldn't do anymore after Cold Pursuit. Not sure what changed his mind. Didn't realise he's in his late 60s so I don't blame him for wanting to stop.
I do enjoy his films for what they are. This one did the job even if it was predictable and had a pretty absurd storyline. Also this seemed much more low budget than usual...like a Nic Cage film. I mean, the production values looked really cheap, particularly the rather small FBI offices.

He said that because after Taken 1, 2, 3 and Cold Pursuit, he didn't have any family members left.
