For various reasons, quality films are harder to come by these days (a discussion for another time). So when I started this movie, and got beyond the first, bizarre scenes, I was intrigued. The format and plot was interesting--if confusing--and developed well over the course of the narrative. Two things that drove me bonkers was 1) some very amateurish acting...not from the lead, but from secondary characters; and 2) the "just at the most opportune/inopportune moment" happenings. What a shame. I think they had a really interesting and unique concept, but execution fell woefully short! 5/10
