Discuss Last Christmas

So the big songs that most fans know of GM that I recall that was in the movie was: 1) Last Christmas (obviously and a great song!) 2) Wake Me Up Before You Go Go 3) Everything She Wants(very underrated one of his best!) 4) Faith (probably one of his most famous from the Faith album probably at the height of his career) 5)Freedom(very powerful song) 6)Praying For Time (very moving) 7)One More Try(one of the greatest songs ever!) 8) Fastlove

There was a few more in the movie, that I did not recognize? Theres a song, that KINDA OF A SPOILER...............................That they sing together towards the end, I did not recognize that song tho?

Yes I agree I'd love to see George Michael live before he passed away. Its a reminder to always see your favorites before its too late.

Is "I want your sex" featured?

LMAO it mine as well been, the whole movie Mother of Dragons is trying to get laid even while crashing on friends couches and using one night stands to provide a place to sleep at lol.

That resung version of "Praying for Time" was epic...I have to seek it out for sure. And of course, it was played during a very "emotional" moment.

But "Freedom '90" still my favorite GM song!

We lost some phenomenal voices the last few years, Mr. Michael was one of them. cry

"I Knew You Were Waiting". Great song!

I've not seen this movie, though have long been a GM fan. He definitely was one of the best artists of the '80s. So many terrific hits!

Does this movie feature the original GM recordings, or are all the songs newly performed by whomever else?

Yes thank God its GM singing all the classics. Some were digital enhanced for the movie and of course Mother of Dragons sings her renditions as well.

That's good that it's not all "cover" versions.

Btw, one of my fave GM songs has always been "Too Funky". Great video!

Yeah GM had all the hottest super models in his videos!

Never been a fan of GM, and the movie didn't change my mind. It didn't help that most of the songs were played fairly quietly in the background.

IMHO "Sunshine on Leith" did a much better job for the music of The Proclaimers, but I guess that had the advantage of being a full-on musical.

Freedom is definitely my favourite out of all the songs in this movie.
