Discuss Knives Out

It's nice to see murder mystery movies like this still being, or perhaps more accurately again being made, but it's just not a very good movie. Overall very mediocre and seems to drag on and just seems unnecessarily longwinded. The "reveal" at the end is also rather anticlimactic and just gets a big "meh" reaction, and I was just happy that it was finally over. Definitely not a movie one would want to watch again, and I have to say, for example, I have no problem watching those old Poirot movies or episodes even though I mostly remember the plots to most of them.

I saw it day before yesterday...and I had my expectations pretty high giving its reviews & ratings...and although it was a GREAT little "whodunnit?", I think some Italian Giallo's did it WAY better back in the day! I guess it was "different" then most movies nowadays, hence the high ratings and love...I've seen enough movies like this so I wasn't blown away..and like you said ahole, the ending reveal was "meh" at best..was hoping to be like this open_mouth

I was pleasantly surprised that you can solve it pretty much from the beginning. Didn't find any plot holes. It had even had some scenes that made me chuckle
