Discuss Freaks

The average American produces about 4.5lbs of trash per day. They lived 7 years in the span of a few months. Let's say 3 months. That's 28x faster than normal time. If garbage collection is once a week they'd have 4.5 * 28 * 7 = 882lbs of trash per week! I'm being pretty fast and loose with the numbers. They lived on survival mode so the amount of trash per day is far less than the average person but even at a fraction of that it can be a hundred pounds per week. We see Henry came back with a shopping cart full of packaged, canned, bottled stuff so they are consuming a lot of disposable containers. That will pile up fast.

Another thing is utilities. The electric company would register quite a high rate of energy consumption since they use multiple days of electricity in a single day. The mechanics of plumbing doesn't really work either. They'd have to only use water without the bubble being up or risk their pipes bursting/imploding with the flow rate of liquid crossing the time barrier.

It's just some thought experiments. These nitpicks didn't detract from the movie for me.
