Hogeschoolleraar Thomas is herstellende van een alcoholverslaving. Hij ontmoet de aantrekkelijke nieuwe student Tracy, met wie hij een affaire begint, terwijl hij ondertussen probeert de relatie met zijn ex-vrouw Megan weer goed te maken. Dit valt echter niet in goede aarde bij Tracy, die Thomas koste wat het kost helemaal voor zichzelf wil hebben.
