In anii '50 puterea comunista aresta si ancheta cu predilectie intelectualii. Personajul principal al filmului, profesor de violoncel, va face si el cunostinta cu meandrele teoriei comuniste. Dupa 12 ani de peregrinari prin anchete, profesorul, devenit erou al propriilor sale naluciri, incearca sa-si redobandeasca identitatea. Atat el ca povestitor, cat si cei ce-l supravegheaza si-l ancheteaza devin pe rand personaje in fabuloasele sale povestiri. |
