Discuss Cats

Just saw Cats. I like it I don't care what the Star Wars fanboys say.

It takes about 8 seconds to get past the CGI. And -oh my golly- They are sometimes wearing human clothes. This is THEATER! Get over it.

Now that I've said that: I'm not a big fan of Rebel Wilson but the rest of the cast was very good. I was surprised that they changed some of the songs but not that much. And I missed the Policles. Finally the paper thin "plot" was totally unnecessary but there it is.

Sorry I just can't do it. Glad you liked it though Then I'm not a fan of the stage show either or James Cordon. Different strokes for different cats.

Thanks

I've been getting a lot of hate about this.

I better not mention that I also like fruitcake.

I like fruitcake too. It just has to be fresh and made right. Young Sheldon liked Cats too

Young Sheldon's Ian Armitage loved Cat!

Umm.no its **NOT **Theater, its CINEMA! FILM! THE MOVIES! Whatever you care to call it! Maybe they should've went with animating it, but live-action furries was clearly NOT the way to go and the general movie-going public agrees!

Some shows are best left on the stage..another movie I can think of is the 2005 **Producers **movie...I saw it on Broadway and its still my BEST Theater experience..I didn't want it to end! Saw it 4 times on stage! ffwd to 2005 & they ("they" being Universal, coincidentally the same studio behind 'Cats') put the stage director as the director of the film and sure enough, it SUCKED! Matthew Broderick looks like he's going to have a stroke through the whole film!

LMAO....ITS NOT SW FANBOYS...ITS EVERYONE...EVERYONE HATES THIS FILMED ABORTION.

I've never heard a Star Wars fan or fanboy ever mention Cats.

What do "star wars fanboys" have to do with this movie?

Before I saw this movie I read several reviews. All of them...yes...all of them ended with the reviewer planning on seeing the Star Wars movie.

Everyone has to see the new Star Wars. It's the law. Fanboys know that you are not a fanboy because you would be saying TROS, and not just Star Wars if you were. Your Jedi privileges are revoked.

Not fair! I saw ALL THREE of the Star Wars movies. The ones that mattered anyway.

Your argument is intelligent and well reasoned and I thank you for that. It's much better than:

EVERYONE HATES THIS FILMED ABORTION.

Isn't TROS the counselor on ST:TNG?

Isn't ST:TNG the movie with Paul Newman?

No, that would be the lead singer of the Police.

STNG himself wouldn't say that. I once saw a very cut down road show of Cats. They had so little money to spend on the production that after cutting the cast members they had to change the shows name to Cat

Bazinga Tim !

Well there was the politically correct version where they used real cats to avoid cultural appropriation.

I'm waiting for the Star Wars crossover: KZINTI.
