I wonder if people will protest the film because it was produced by Gunn? Anyway, looks interesting. I'll probably see it.
There are always dumbfucks who like to stir up controversy where there really was none, so I wouldn't be surprised. I was against James Gunn's firing as the tweets were over 10 years ago, he had already apologized for them back then along with other stupid things he joked about, and the tweets were only brought up again because some Trump supporters got ticked off about Gunn's tweets against the president. However, I also understood that Disney had to fire him because they were still in the middle of the Fox deal, which the Government had to still approve. So, I for one am not gonna allow this to prevent me from watching this movie.

Damn I've never seen you swear. You must really like Gunn.
It's not that, though I understood Disney's reasons for firing Gunn, I still didn't like it. It's not right to fire someone after 10 years for something they knew about before they hired him. Also, this whole debacle delayed Guardians 3 for an indeterminant length of time.
That's a fair question, vandal. One I can't answer because I haven't seen the film to know, just how vague. If you (or anyone else here) have seen Brightburn, please continue. DC has sued for less and won. "just sayin"

Since James Gunn is working with DC to make the next Suicide Squad, he probably cut a deal with them.
