Connie was the gf left behind when her bf suddenly left. She was told there was only room for one in the truck (ha ha ha) and they'd come back for her. We never see her again. I assume she was killed like most everyone else but I never saw her body.

It is her scream we hear (from multiple perspectives) directly after we see her last, and she is among the dead bodies burned at the end. She's the one we see in close-up being carted in, with the pine cones, branches and polaroid photos on her.
