I just came back from it, with all the bad reviews out there I was expecting the worst movie ever. What I got was a fairly decent vampire film, and I've seen a lot of bad vampire movies so I know what they look like. I don't get the hate.

We talking intentional comedy here, or incidental absurdity of the Tommy Wiseau-esque variety?

Oh I am positive it wasnt intentional lol but that made it that much better was entertained so there is that.

I have, as well as the X rated Lust of Blackula.

Maybe I missed something, but why are the police in this movie so carefree about a vampire (or two) causing mayhem in their city. It's like they could care less that it is some vampire-man beast behind the carnage and they act like they've fought against similar foes countless of times. However this obviously being a highly scientific movie the biggest question I have is why was vampire-bro no:2 doing push-ups after he had already gained his super strength? I imagine the effect would be kind of similar to a normal person picking up a grain of rice and doing pushing movements with it. This is making a complete mockery out physiology and biology in a movie like this of all places!

Cause they casted Tyrese?

It was a flex. Milo had been crippled all his life until then, so was just doing everything he couldn't do before for the sole reason he could now.

I watched about 1 hour of it and I can see why the reviews are so bad. Sony seems to be on a roll with this non-stop shit fest they are churning out. I didn't like uncharted or this. I also thought let there be carnage and the latest spider-man were both mediocre.

Apparently this movie has turned into some kind of a huge meme and social media is full of people making fun of it. Somebody came up with a catchphrase for Morbius: "It's morbin time" which people seem to really love and the catchphrase now even has Urban dictionary additions

"It's Morbin' Time. Famous catchphrase uttered by Morbius at the climax of the highest-grossing film of all time, "Morbius". "I cried when he said "It's Morbin' Time." such an emotional moment!"

It was really silly movie, as you can expect from Sony. I didn't find it funny, not even unintentionally, it was just boring and nonsensical comics movie. It was on a par with movies like Assassins Creed, Infinite, Bloodshot, Dark Tower, I, Frankenstein, Priest and numerous other completely forgettable Hollywood action crap shows that were based on either comic or a video game.

And it's not like it has bad story in its core, or a bad conflict. It's just not telling anything interesting from that story and floating on completely superficial layer. It was intended to be serious, but it feels like a very exaggerated attempt at that, it's all very ridiculous from all the intended seriousness.

Anyway, this character is completely silly and everything in that reality is silly, I get why it deserves to be ridiculed. But it is not as idiotic as both Venom movies, and it is itself a big plus.
