Initially I didn't like how halfway through the film they revealed the true nature of what's going on...i thought it took away the fear of the unknown. But I guess that's what made it different from a typical horror. And you're right, the mystery did end satisfyingly, even though there weren't anymore surprises (the main twist was a surprise though).
