This is a strange film with no real plot or action. I don't get what it is trying to say. The man seems anything but fortunate - he is an arrogant stubborn selfish narcissist bordering on sociopath. He spends the entire film using and abusing people and eventually destroys himself by means of his own personality. His upbringing is marred by an overly zealous religious father who was abusive to him and that seems to be his motivation for everything that I wont say happens to him - more he happens to) There is a story about a watch that I could not understand at all - and a tiny moment of repentance that is swiftly swept aside and never rears its head again. I cannot fathom why this man attracted so many women with the wonderful chat up line "You want to be mine, don't you?" !! I know the response he would get today !!
