it was okay. Best thing about it was the first couple room designs. The script writing and dialogue was trash and the characters said and did way too many things that only made sense in service of the plot but made no sense for them to say in the scenarios. Ending was bs too. Cinematography was good.

Saw it two times. The first time I thought it was just ok, the 2nd time I liked it much more. Maybe my mind was more relaxed during the 2nd time I saw it. Both times I saw it at the drive-in, so it's possible the other feature could have had an influence on how I felt about Escape Room. The 2nd time I had a bit more time to think about the work that went into the movie...all the puzzles and rooms they were in. It was a lot of work, and with that in mind I certainly appreciated it much more the 2nd time around.

I thought the ending wasn't bad, but of course it was just a way to set it up for a possible sequel.

It was a bad movie and stupid as hell and got progressively worse as it went on. Those idiotic puzzles with the far fetched clues and wild deductions were only topped off by that idiotic ending. I liked this movie better when it was called Cube, and I didn't like it a whole lot even back then.

YUP..CUBE IS AWESOME,ESCAPE ROOM IS HOT TRASH.

This was OK, but there's a sense it's gonna be the next Saw and just churn out many sequels with a new set of people in new scenarios trying to escape.

I agree with others too; Cube was better...and the deaths were gorier!

I enjoyed it because I like the genre and I enjoy the guessing game of who's going to die and how, but agree it was totally absurd with very bad scripting and acting. I think if you like The Cube and films like it, you'll enjoy this.
