Hi, I believe this is the correct title. It was the title for the first theatrical release in a country with English as the spoken language. Do you have any source for the contrary? Just re-open if you have any evidence to share. Thanks.

I know that in some of the reviews from that time, including Roger Ebert's, had the name as "the bicycle thief" and heard that when the movie did a second theatrical run in the US it had been changed to "bicycle Thieves".

So, first theatrical release - which we use - was the current title. A later re-release does not apply. Closing topic.
