Did they ever wrap up... (spoiler)

The opening when there were two Brians, with future Brian trying to kill existing Brian? Did all the time loop changes cancel that out? The SISSY still exists in the final timeline, and with the Feds crawling all over them I figured it would be Brian who was the guinea pig instead of Danielle at the end.

The time loop cancled it out. I was wondering myself what Briam did to have a murderer after him, but it's left unresolved

Brian was trying to murder himself to prevent (I guess) the initial time loop by firing up SISSY. I guess I really wanted Brian to be the guinea pig to "test" the software (rather than Danielle) which could have tied back to the beginning.
I'm probably overthinking it anyway. I enjoyed both movies, which I watched back to back.
