Discuss Tiệm Bánh Ham-bơ-gơ Của Bob

Just got back from this.

I've watched the TV show on and off over the last few years, very sporadic, haven't been with it since the beginning. A cute show, but I could do without all of Gene's body-humor jokes.

The movie was not very good; way too much singing, this was almost a musical. Not sure why it was PG-13, nobody swore. The Simpsons movie from 2007 was more edgy. I feel only diehard Bob's Burgers fans are really going to enjoy this movie.

Technical note: watching the end credits, there was a surprisingly large pool of animators, spanning four continents (North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe). Canada, the U.S., South Korea, Taiwan, Ireland, Mexico, Australia, and I think also Finland were mentioned, and I probably missed a few countries.

Here is the IMDb page that explains the reasons for the rating:

Thanks for the link. Looking it over, those descriptors make the movie sound a lot more intense than it actually was. I must have missed the part where someone said "damn".

Personally, I would've rated the movie (I refuse to call this particular work a "film") PG. Thinking back over the years, I really do think the MPAA (I guess it's the MPA, now) has gotten unnecessarily strict with the rating system. The original Planet of the Apes, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and (retroactively) Gone With the Wind were all given G or PG ratings (heck, Walkabout [1971] was originally rated GP/PG, and that film had quite a lot of nudity).

Anyway, thanks again for the link, bratface.

You are welcome.

It's nice to see that someone else makes the distinction between a film & a movie.
