I remembered fondly the original movies, it was fun, lighthearted with ridiculous practical effects that emphasized the comical side of the absurd plot. It was stupid fun all around. Unfortunately this amateurish crap of a movie only left the stupid part. Whatever they tried to do didn't work on all levels. The movie is not funny at all, the daughters are completely irritating and pointless, all supportive characters are idiotic and the story is boring and lacks any kind of imagination. The production is really bad and there are almost no redeeming qualities in this giant piece of crap. I say almost because Death that appears at later stage actually the only thing that saves this movie. It's surreal to say in a sentence, but Death is the best. He added something that actually reminded of the originals, but unfortunately not enough to pull this movie out of the giant lake of feces that this movie created until then.
Better re-watch the originals instead.
