A sprawling epic of white trash depravity and bad luck that will haunt you for all eternity.

It's a train wreck from beginning to end, but a masterfully made train wreck.

True. A pretty decent movie, which is hard to see these days. I was hooked from the beginning.

A movie so bad, it is sure to win an Oscar.

Shouldn't you be picking up McG's dry cleaning or something?

I actually watched this on your recommendation and I was quite delighted with it. An apt description indeed. Ka-ryest was this flick twisted. I loved it!

Glad to hear you liked it. It's a solid film.

Refreshing to see Haley Bennet back in the game, relatively soon after becoming Joe Wright's baby mama

Actually, the pregger weight she put on made her look perfect for this role.

Yeah, I almost didn't even recognize her.

Agreed. I wish that had made this into a limited series of about 5 or 6 episodes, though. I would have liked to have seen a bit more character development....the Preachers, the Hendersons, and even poor Mama could have been given backstories. The development of the Hendersons into serial killers seemingly overnight did not play well, IMO.

I believe the Henderson's had already been well into their serial killing prior to their introduction, so I was ok with the lack of back story there. Every story can't have a fresh introduction of every character.
