As I predicted in an earlier thread: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/scarlett-johansson-disney-settle-black-widow-lawsuit-1235022598/
Scarlett Johansson and Disney have reached a settlement over her blockbuster lawsuit that accused the studio of sabotaging the theatrical release of “Black Widow” to prop up Disney Plus. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Johansson had sought a $50 million payout from the studio.
“I am happy to have resolved our differences with Disney,” stated Johansson. “I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in years to come.”
Disney Studios chairman Alan Bergman added: “I’m very pleased that we have been able to come to a mutual agreement with Scarlett Johansson regarding Black Widow. We appreciate her contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and look forward to working together on a number of upcoming projects, including Disney’s Tower of Terror.”

The pandemic really messed with the release of this one, big-time. Did Scarlett factor it into what happened or what?

Great news. I was really worried she'd only been paid $15 million or whatever it was rather than the $30 million or whatever it was she deserved.
I'll sleep much better this evening...

My only consolation is maybe the Russo's will come back to Marvel now, since it was their support for this lawsuit which was keeping them from making the deal to return.

They turned down an offer to helm a new major Marvel project (probably Secret Wars) citing their support for Scarlet Johansson's lawsuit as the reason.

Based Russos. Netflix is also probably paying them a lot more than Marvel anyways.
