The director's cut of this movie is terrible

I accidentally bought the director's cut extended edition of this movie. Woof, it's so bad. The extra scenes were cut for a reason. I don't need to see an extra five minutes of Katherine Heigl screaming.

I mistakenly tried watching the director's cut and agree that it's pretty bad. What I mean is the pace is too slow for a comedy, so I approached it more like a relationship drama but it didn't work because the premise is too ridiculous for a serious film. I wish I'd just watched the theatrical version, then I might've enjoyed it.
The Katherine Heigl flipout was when I shut it off. It just came out of nowhere, after she had been established as the mature character. Suddenly just because of hormones she flips out for 10 mins and goes totally batsh** on Ben for no reason, on and on and on. Whoever thought that scene was a good idea needs to be fired. If it was literally "the director" Judd Apatow, I just lost respect for him.
