David Corenswet Wants to Play Superman

“It came to my attention before the internet got a hold of me,” he tells EW. “But my pie-in-the-sky ambition is definitely to play Superman. I would love to see somebody do an upbeat, throwback [take on Superman]. I love the Henry Cavill dark and gritty take, but I would love to see the next one be very bright and optimistic.”
He looks like a cross between Cavill and Tom Welling.

With Cavill doing The Witcher a new movie few years from now needs a new face.
Of course when you have an actor Cavill who has many projects like The Witcher can you really play the same character over and over again.

If there gonna be a new movie it will be a Matt Reeves Batman type reboot that jettison's Cavill's Superman.

Cavill is too busy with The Witcher, Adams is too old to be Lois Lane, due to a long period of inactivity a new movie would need a new actor.

@Damienracer True. He is pretty clean cut and is supposed to be good looking. Maybe Corenswet can work out a bit for the role or they'll do something with his look...
Or maybe they're just going with less manly, more boyish looking actors for these superhero movies... The twilight guy is batman now... Apparently he doesn't want to do any deadlifts to prepare...
