...the girl is killed off so early in the movie. From the marketing I assumed her character would be a much bigger part of the movie or that the story would revolve around her (and not Toni Collette). I love Toni Collette, but as others have pointed out, that girl has such an interesting look and we only got to see her act for like 30 minutes of the movie.

I found the marketing of this movie a bit misleading and it wasn't what I expected. I'm still unpacking it, but I was SO disappointed when that girl died. I was hoping she'd come back somehow later in the movie, but she doesn't.
