Discuss Pendez-les haut et court

It came when Hingle's character congratulates the Marshall for bringing three crooks in. At first this scene looks a little corny in this otherwise powerful Ted Post-directed film ( which means everyone comes out just like their characters not like celebrities). But when you see and realize that Hingle is playing a hanging judge for him to be real cheery about bad guys brought in ( and the way he showed dimension by calling one of the to-be-condemned men "son" in court). Shows necessary goodness. This is a film about good guys more than Bad. Post may have had a few squabbles with Hingle about the cheesey way he played his judge character but Hingle won out out I guess ( I did not read or hear this anywhere) and got his character really nice instead of really hardboiled.

On other points. Beauties Inger Steven's and Arlene Golonka are both solid in this film as women Clint has an eye on. James MacArthur ( Danno on 'Hawaii Five-O" ) is totally Post-immersed in his preacher role.
