"Marvel is doubling down on its next generation of heroes with the announcement of Marvel Rising, a new multiplatform initiative focusing on younger characters, including Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl and members of the Inhumans.
The series will launch with six four-minute digital shorts introducing Gwen Stacy — the star of Marvel's Spider-Gwen comic book, renamed Ghost-Spider for this animated series — before the debut of Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, a full-length animated movie scheduled for 2018. Marvel hasn't announced where the movie will appear, but it did share that future content, including material from Marvel's publishing arm, is intended to be announced in upcoming months. So, the announcement in December was for both -> a series of 6 short films and a movie.
I did some more research -> according to an article at IndieWire from last week, the 6 digital shorts already aired on network "Disney XD" and are currently officially streaming on Youtube as episodes under the name "Marvel Rising: Initiation":
My problem: I can't watch them, because they are not available in my country!
And again, this article states that there will be a movie this fall on Disney Channel:
"Debuting initially as six shorts, now streaming on YouTube, “Initiation” will be followed up by “Secret Warriors,” a feature-length adventure this fall featuring the same characters, voiced by Dove Cameron, Milana Vayntrub, Kathreen Khavari, Chloe Bennet, Kim Raver, Kamil McFadden, and Steven Weber, among others. [...] The feature-length follow-up, “Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors,” will premiere on Disney Channel this fall."
